  • Yes! Free parking is available right out front of the center.

  • We request cancellations or modifications at least 48 hours prior to your appointment. Appointments canceled within 48 hours will be subject to being charged the full amount of your missed appointments. If you have questions, please give us a call! 480.761.0381

  • There are several ways you can take advantage of the services we offer! Acupuncture, massages, cupping, and medical aesthetics are all done with a practitioner.

    Yoga and Sound Healing are offered as classes (see the schedule here).

    Finally, our memberships give you unlimited access to our infrared sauna, red light therapy, and compression. The sauna, red light therapy, and compression can also be booked on a session-by-session basis.

Acupuncture Therapy

  • Depending on your individual needs and condition, our acupuncturists will recommend a suitable treatment plan. For chronic conditions or ongoing wellness maintenance, weekly sessions may be recommended initially, with the frequency adjusted as needed.

  • Wear loose, comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the areas where acupuncture needles will be inserted. Avoid wearing heavy perfumes or lotions, and refrain from consuming large meals immediately before your appointment.

  • Yes, our acupuncturists are highly trained and experienced in a variety of acupuncture techniques tailored to address specific health issues, including pain management, stress reduction, fertility support, and more.

  • Yes, acupuncture therapy is commonly used to alleviate chronic pain conditions such as back pain, arthritis, migraines, and fibromyalgia. By stimulating specific acupuncture points, this therapy can help reduce pain, inflammation, and improve overall quality of life.

  • The duration of the effects varies from person to person and depends on factors such as the individual's condition, response to treatment, and lifestyle factors. Many people experience immediate relief after a session, with longer-lasting results achieved through regular and consistent treatment.

  • Yes, acupuncture therapy is safe and suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels. Our acupuncturists will tailor the treatment to suit your individual needs and health status, ensuring a comfortable and effective experience.

  • It is advisable to drink plenty of water before and after your acupuncture session to stay hydrated. Additionally, avoid consuming caffeine or alcohol before your appointment, and inform your acupuncturist of any medications you are taking or any health concerns you may have.

Cupping Therapy

  • Cupping therapy is a decompressive approach to bodywork. Cupping flushes capillaries, drains stagnant fluids, and improves skin function by increasing metabolism. It’s effective for fascia mobilization, deep tissue work, and lymphatic drainage, offering relief for various conditions with less time and discomfort.

  • Yes with a few exceptions - pregnancy, skin conditions, bleeding disorders, deep vein th rombosis, and recent surgeries. If you’re concerned, please speak to our staff or your doctor.

  • Side effects may include:

    • Skin discoloration/ bruising

    • Skin irritation, redness, tenderness and itchy

    • Sensation of discomfort similar to deep tissue massage 

    • Dizziness/ lightheadedness post treatment 

  • Cupping Therapy for general wellness and relaxation should be scheduled every 1-2 weeks.  If you’re using cupping therapy for pain management, it should be scheduled roughly 2 times per week and adjusted based on response. 

  • Not typically. Modern Remedy does not accept insurance, however you may be able to submit a receipt to insurance for reimbursement. We advise you to speak with your insurance provider!

Infrared Sauna

  • This will vary depending on individual tolerance, health status and preference. Start slow (approximately 10 minutes) and gradually work up to 30 minutes. 

  • Some contraindications include heart problems, high blood pressure and pregnancy. Please consult with your doctor of healthcare provider before use.

  • Swimwear or atheltic wear is recommended for sauna and cold plunge sessions.

  • We recommended several sessions per week for optimal results, however it depends on the individual’s health goals and tolerance.

  • With the high temperatures of the sauna, dehydration, heat-related illness, and low blood pressure can be common side effects.

Red Light Therapy

  • Red light therapy works by penetrating the skin with specific wavelengths of light that stimulate cellular energy production (ATP). This boosts collagen production, accelerates healing, and reduces inflammation.

  • Yes, red light therapy is considered safe and non-invasive. It doesn’t emit harmful UV rays and is FDA-cleared for certain uses like pain management and wrinkle reduction. However, it's always recommended to consult with a healthcare professional before starting any new treatment.

  • For most conditions, treatments 3–5 times a week for 4–8 weeks are recommended initially. After that, maintenance sessions 1–2 times per week can help sustain results. Our center is open 6 days a week for red light therapy and walk-in appointments are available!

    • RLT has a range of benefits, including:

  • Athletic clothing is what most of our members choose to wear. Members often do red light therapy and the infrared sauna in back-to-back sessions. Learn more about our memberships here.

Therapeutic Massage and Stretch Therapy

  • Depending on individual needs, we like to learn what their body needs, how it responds and that will help us determine recommended frequency. 
    If you’re experiencing chronic pain, tension and stress, we generally recommend weekly sessions or less frequently when combined with other modalities. 

  • For stretching therapy, wear something comfortable and easy to move in!

    For massage therapy, the therapist will leave the room to allow you the time and privacy to disrobe to an individual's comfort level.  Underwear and nude are acceptable as the client will remain covered only exposing what is necessary for treatment.

  • Yes, our therapists are licensed and knowledgeable in sports, orthopedic massage techniques and undergo continuing education regularly.

  • Yes, massage therapy can alleviate muscle tension, increase circulation to promote healing and reduce pain, can trigger the release of endorphins, the body's natural pain reliever, and improve range of motion.

    Stretch therapy can increase flexibility, reduce stiffness and discomfort, correct muscle imbalances.

  • This will vary per person but most of the time immediate results are experienced however, to keep those results long lasting there will need to be more consistency for cumulative benefits.  The goal is to decrease regularity with massage and stretching to a maintenance level but that will depend on client involvement with daily integration of self-care practices

  • Yes, through proper communication and most importantly feedback from the client all ages and fitness levels are welcome.

  • Hydrate before and after your session, communicate any questions or concerns and please complete necessary intake forms, avoid heavy meals.

YOGa and sound healing

  • Sound healing can help with stress reduction, improved sleep quality, pain relief, enhanced mood, improved focus and concentration.

  • Yes, with proper guidance yoga is suitable for beginners! Our instructors are skilled with working with all experience levels. 

  • Therapeutic yoga should be practiced daily, even if at home. 2-3 times a week in person is recommended to create consistency.

  • Yes, simply put, sound healing promotes relaxation and aids in the reduction of cortisol levels, brainwave synchronization and release of tension.  It encourages mindfulness and presence and sometimes facilitates an emotional release which is a wonderful and scary thing.

  • All supplies are provided for you but we encourage you to bring whatever you like to personalize your experience with us.

  • Typically 60-90 minutes, depending on the class.
